The Outlaw Josey Wales, 1976. Stars Clint Eastwood and co stars Chief Dan George, Sondra Locke, Sam Bottoms, and Geraldine Keams.
The Outlaw Josey Wales was inspired by a 1972 novel by supposedly-Cherokee writer Forrest Carter, alias of former KKK Leader and segregationist speech writer of George Wallace, Asa Earl Carter, an identity that would be exposed in part due to the success of the film, and was originally titled The Rebel Outlaw: Josey Wales and later retitled Gone to Texas.

Two Mules for Sister Sara, 1970. directed by Don Siegel and starring Shirley MacLaine and Clint Eastwood.
The film was shot over 65 days in Mexico and cost around $4 million. Many of the cast and crew, including MacLaine, were stricken by illness while filming, due to having to adjust to the food and water in Mexico.

Tremors, 1990. western-themed monster horror comedy film directed by Ron Underwood, and stars Kevin Bacon, Fred Ward, Finn Carter, Michael Gross, and Reba McEntire.
In 2019, Kevin Bacon hinted that Tremors only made "a fifth of what the charts at Universal said it would." Its creators blamed the subpar theatrical performance on its marketing campaign; S. S. Tremors was hailed by critics for its diverse cast and humor. lol.. Yes ive heard a few folk just not getting it. Its one of few films of that age and style i do get.i've seen it a couple of times - but it didn't have such an effect on me as it seems to do with others.
