    I think it's

'You're a big man but you're out of shape, and with me it's a full time job. So sit down and shut up.'

Doesn't start in that pub but that scene is quite early on. Worth getting the DVD for the director's commentary, it's excellent. Also has the full performance of the theme tune on it too.

Yeah that sounds more like it, haven't seen it for maybe 20 years. I'll look out for the DVD too. As long as it's cheap, I don't normally buy DVD's these days
I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Didn't Alan Ladd used to stand on a box for close ups to make him seem taller? His daughter Cheryl used to be one of Charlies Angels, a really nice looking girl.
I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

That last bit isn't true. Turns Out Alan was father in-law.

I read that on 'Shane' they would dig a hole for Jean Arthur to stand in during their scenes together so that she would not tower over him.

Just watched first two episodes of "True Detective" season 3. Shaping up well, but I don't expect it to surpass 1st season, which imv was one of the best things on TV in recent years. It's on sky box sets, so I'm gonna give it another watch
