    It was a big talking point when it came out, with supposed copycat crimes etc(TBH only a few and its debatable if they in fact were). Kubrick managed to get it stoped being shown for years after he and family were hounded by Protestors etc.
    Banned up until fairly recently in various countries too.

    A disopian novel by Anthony Burgess i think... his only really successful one

    Yup, it's a corker of a film - ticks some significant [psychologically disturbed] boxes for me, and then some!

    He got blinded during the film (during the eye clips scenes i think) One of his eyes got nicked.
    I liked him in If too, and it was on that showing that got him the role.
