Currently working my way through the complete "It Ain't Half Hot Mum"

Fantastic old school Comedy, that (Due to the PC brigade) apparently can't be screened now.

They were on cable a few years back now, I watched them all again then. Well most of them. Got a bit patchy after the third series.

Remember watching "It Ain't Half Hot Mum" on a Thursday evening (I think) with my dad, when my mum and sister used to go to lace making classes... If I recall correctly (unlikely!) Thursday evening telly back then also included Top of The Pops and Blakes 7.

TOTP was Thursday. 'Monkey' was Friday. And 'The Water Margin' too. 'Blakes Seven' I don't remember what day that was but it was on the one night everyone else was out the house and I could watch it in peace.

Blakes 7 was a monday about 7.30 or so I think. The sets were terrible, some of the acting awful.. Great series tho. Watched it regularly

Thanks guys, I sit corrected. Blake’s 7 is indeed comical now, but I also loved it back in the day!

Loved the Water Margin, and Blakes Seven was good as well. It was the Water Margin started me of watching Chinese and Japanese films.
