    Yes - I picked up boxed sets of Series 1 through to Series 6 cheaply. Good to view them again. Sometime I must get the remaining series (was Series 9 the last?) as the format picked up after they escaped from prison.

    Ah - so I'm only half way! I watched a lot of the later episodes on Dave, and was shocked to see how much the actors had aged.

    I though the final episode was very clever in its denouement which brought the whole to a logically satisfying end.

    The final episode had them back on Earth looking for the story's author (Grant / Naylor); having realised that their existence depended wholly on being written about. They couldn't find the author but found out that they could write the future for themselves. I think it ends with Lister talking to camera with words to the effect of: "Thanks, but goodbye - we don't need you now".
