yes they did, although i read somewhere that neither wanted to do the show. they only did it as they felt they were the only 2 that could do it, and it WAS going to be done with or without them... it worked out pretty well, and made both of them really

I was disappointed when I saw it many years ago. Probably worth a repeat viewing: I often change my mind about 'cult' films, initially disliking them, then reappraising my opinion with repeated views.

based on the novel "4.50 from Paddington".
Film was generally well recieved and still is, bar one Agatha Christie, who didnt like it.

More matinees; War time now with The Guns Of Navarone, 1961. directed by J. Lee Thompson, and stars Gregory Peck, David Niven and Anthony Quinn, along with Stanley Baker and Anthony Quayle. James Robertson Justice has a part too and also narrates the opening sequence.
This did well at box office making a not inconsiderable $18m profit. It won an Academy Award for Special Effects..
