The Time Tunnel - episode 4

Incorrectly listed as 'Time Tunnel' on the tv guide. This week they're in Pearl Harbour.

    Proper telly this.

As a child I was particularly fascinated by the way they 'land' at the start of each episode. It's really very odd.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

    Forces TV Martin?

They usually went back in time because I don't think their budget ran to the future, although I've noticed Irwin Allen would reuse scenes from his other series (Voyage to the bottom of the sea, Land of the giants) where he saw fit & could shoe horn
    them in.

Not sure, I think it might be on Horror channel.

The other night they showed the Halley's Comet episode where you get to see what the time-tunnel complex looks like outside the main room - and it's a complete rip off of the Krell power station from Forbidden Planet.

Caught the tail end of one, it was on the horror channel. Archie Bunker was in it.

Put tomorrow's on to tape, they've just 'landed' on Krakatoa. Also noticed Lost in space was on so taping that as well.

    It was.

Recollect he was quite good playing the Rod Steiger part in the TV version of 'In the heat of the night'
