Watched this last night. Who knew Adam Sandler could actually act. Best new film I've seen in a while. On Netflix.

U571. 2000. Reasonably good film although totally historically inaccurate in several main premise.
Otherwise the action scenes are good as is story.
Think Tony Blair got hot under the collar about it so another point in its favour

On telly this afternoon, Kirk Douglas and Anthony Quinn in 'Last Train From Gun Hill' (1959)

In general I'm not a big fan of Westerns, but this is one of the better ones. Saw it years ago (on an old B&W set), but thought I would watch it again following the death of Kirk Douglas.

Adam Sandler is Little Nicky. 2000.
He is not bad in it but the supporting cast make it a fun watch.

    UFO (Forces TV)

Never grow tired of watching this show, yes it has dated, but the stories are still good.

Brilliant innit. They were selling the Box set off on Amazon for £15. Blue Ray is obviously a lot more expensive.

    WTF?

I guess we all have different ideas of what constitutes as "fun"!
