    I watched that on Friday night actually Marco, all I can say is I can see why sky released it at the same time as the cinema. So so action flix but some abysmally bad acting and accents from the leads.

    Blade of the immortal might be stunningly violent and horrendously gory but its brilliantly acted, directed and best of all has a story & characters you care for.

    Yeah, I'd agree, hence why I classed it as "disposable". Good work out for the home-cinema system, though! I'll probably keep it for that reason (optimizing 'bang & crash' settings)

    No doubt, but it's a totally different type of film, with different goals in mind.
