    ...I've had some shit ones too, the Bose MS1s are OK as rear AV speakers, but as a main stereo pair nooo! And the Maurdent Shorts I had were woolly indeed.

    heh ... well you have to make mistakes dont you ... its hard to learn without making mistakes ... basically reading between the lines Andre, when all is said and done ... we are obviously more intelligent than everyone else because we are less perfect!

    Blame the spell checker...

    I'm really struggling to remember, would have been bought new about 1988, cost around £150, stand mounted...MS?

    I thought today was Tuesday, nearly set off for a meeting, so remembering 88 is a bit of a struggle

    I was running them with a Linn Axis/BASIC+/MP11 & CYRUS 1, but I found them a little soft.

    Definately not the Pageant series II then unless you bought them secondhand?
