I'm signed up and will be exhibiting myself in partnership with Steve / 12bears.

In fact, I'd strongly recommend teaming up with somebody. That way the room responsibility is shared and some time off can be had to see what other exhibitors are up to!

Don't just pile your stuff into the AOS room - git yourselves a room of your own. It really is a huge amount of fun and also helps the Show to be a more interesting place and will help more towards its success, imho.

Steve will be bringing along his Wilson Benesch speakers and I am sure his new NAD M2 super-fi amp.
Current plans are for me to bring along my Wadia cdp, Techie SL1800 tt setup and whatever else I have handy. My tape deck demonstrations have been well received on previous years, so I may well do that again too.
But of course what I bring will depend on where my box swapping has taken me between now and March 6th!!

Yup, Jerry - good point. I would also encourage others to do that, as it'll give the show more diversity.

I just wanted to let people know that if they don't want to exhibit in a room of their own (not everyone will be comfortable with that) they're more than welcome to bring their gear into our room and try it on our system

I'll certainly pop into your room and say hello, and look forward to hearing whatever kit you've got by March next year!

Glad that you're coming, Chris - hopefully this time we can have a proper chat and down a few frothy ones, on me, in the bar

    Marco.
Thanks Marco ! very decent of you

This time i must set off a bit earlier , found myself rushing about to the point of rudeness to the exhibitor's last march , a poor effort from me must do better as my old teacher used to say.

    Yes please

If you can find a way to get spotify working there, a PC linked to a USB input DAC with remote volume control ( new audiolab maybe ? ) connected directly to those speakers ( no pre amp) it would be an excellent minimalist demo system.

I use Spotify on my laptop via a broadband "dongle" which is fine if you're in a decent reception area, but I would worry that deepest darkest "pie country" wouldn't have the required coverage. Maybe the hotel has wi-fi, though, for guests who are staying over? Can't find any reference to it on their website, but as they major on being a business/conference centre I would be very surprised if they don't in this day and age...?

I seem to remember that the hotel does have wi-fi - but the reception is very patchy.
