Very nice pics, I spent some time in Westport s couple of years ago, a really nice place. Also, rented a cottage in Dunfanaghy in Donegal too and that was also lovely! Irelans is a very beautiful country.

    Hi Steve

I was in Westport back in about 95 ' lovely town and Mat Malloy's bar

Donegal is quite beautiful i remember vividly seeing Errigal mountain ! only two and half thousand feet but it looks so much more impressive .

I think kerry is still my favorite county but clare and cork are lovely too , the Burren is a fascinating place ! and i recommend a visit to Baltimore in west cork , a beautiful place.

Lough Ine just behind Baltimore last summer. I rented a cottage (turned out to be a mansion) just around the corner for a week......good times.

The think I love about Ireland.... more so the south than up here in the north is that they are mental with a capital z! Listen to Radio Ulster in the morning and you get jumped up broadcasters goading the politicians and general public into bitter negativity.

Listen to RTE2 which is broadcast from probably the back of a bus somewhere in a bog in the south and they are giggling like loons, giving away money/holiday breaks and generally having a laugh.

So the economy is fecked.......time for a rethink.....less politics and allowing the fat to get fatter......more community based share and share alike is needed.
