Stoke is the duster capital of the UK, according to the press, anyway.

Lots of drug use round here, some say it's on account of it being so grim but rich people living in mansions in the countryside do drugs too, so not sure that's it.

Someone changed the road sign where you come off the A50 to 'toke Upon Trent' by whiting out the 'S'. It was there for a few years but sadly they've replaced it now.

Badminton or any ball sports, well ones that involve a bit of exertion. More fun than running/swimming/lifting.

Badminton, you could meet Princess Anne.

Sure there are multiple badminton clubs in Chorley. I mean it's known for it.

Plenty of folk in Chorley look like Princess Anne, it's a popular look. And the blokes do it better than the women.

There are some badminton clubs in Chorley, but I subscribe to Groucho Marx's view on club membership

Cheers Kevin, I've been round a few of those places. Used to go with the dog, but we have a cat these days and she's not so keen, the miserable little shite. We are quite lucky living here, and I really have no excuse.

    It's official, I'm a fat git

When changing some glass in a customer's bedroom window yesterday, I found the top of it to be a bit of a stretch, but I was reluctant to kneel on their nice new chest of drawers. So she kindly lent me this small plastic hop up to stand on. That's better.

Until the bloody thing collapsed and shattered into a hundred pieces, sending me arse over tits. That was bad enough, but then I saw that two of my fingers were sliced open and dripping blood onto their new cream carpet which fortunately I had protected with a dust sheet. Good thing I'm not on blood thinners (yet).

Customer was very sympathetic and not in the least bit concerned about her eight quid hop up. A quick investigation reveals that the maximum capacicity for this Amazon special is 90kg, which I am exceeding by a few pounds.

So the diet/exercise starts NOW. Right after I finish this giant bowl of heart healthy porridge

Eight quid hop ups - not for fatties
