One of my brothers always insisted on putting the decos up, I think if it wasn't for him we might not have bothered.
One of the cats would trash the tree pretty much as soon as he'd finished. We'd sit watching tv and just let it carry on, and then my brother would come back and go mad at us for not stopping it.
Can't beat those great Christmas memories.
