They're more likely have a technician who does repairs. An amp for the car is still just an amp.

My 2 peneth contact Sugden getting them to fix it and check it all over plus suggest how to avoid repeating the problem would seem a good way forward, I’ve no personal experience but I’ve not read a bad word on their service and rather the opposite that they seem really helpful.. just a thought

I can't see that Audio T offer a repair service, but I might give them a ring, they're quite friendly in there.

If so that suggests it may be best to get an amp that doesn't slowly cook itself to death?

There's not been any sonic advantage to class A since at least the early 1980s.

Discovered a few local places, one in Hove, but one review said he replaced a CD player pulley with a bog standard elastic band, so may be not that one. I reckon this place looks legit

Hear Audio look promising - certainly the list of manufacturer's names is encouraging (but is so comprehensive, it looks a little suspicious to a cynic like me!).

By all means give them a call and discuss the problem with your amp.

    Good luck.
