    Default Lyrion

I guess there are a fair few people here still using Logitec Media Server who will have heard that it has been upgraded and rebranded as Lyrion.
I have a few worries about installing it, not the least being the loss of internet radio.
If anybody has installed Lyrion, did it go smoothly? Is it enough to save your favourite radio stations? Is it better to wait for version 9?
    Any thoughts or tips appreciated

Lyrion a bit like U the added to UK Play channels is a change of name only all things except for www.squeezebox.com continue to work as they do including internet radio ,sptify, tidal qobuz, Deezer , Radio Paradise and BBC Sounds . Currently the 8.5 download is updated and stable and for all except the Linux gifted should be what you use . Lyrion 9.0 is the new version and is currently in beta version and is being worked on and changed almost daily . There are and have been issued so my advice is do not load this until it is in a stable version which is many months away currently . There is still great support for this software and it is better than it ever has been in my view . The name change was done because Logitech shut the servers down after ten years free and it is viewed that this now should be seen as a free entity in its own right . And granite still free .
