    I'm Don.

    Default FS: Michaelson & Austin*TVA-1

I have, for sale, one of my favourite Valve amps. I'm having a clear-out of amplifiers collected over the last 30 years...so watch this space!

The infamous Michaelson & Austin TVA-1. Needs no intro, but it's a sought after amplifier especially if you're a fan of TdP.

This one is virtually unmarked, all chrome is in order, not scratched or pitted.... comes with a cage which is also in excellent condition. I bought this unit 5 years ago, and it's been in storage ever since. I wanted to take it down to AD Audio for a service but never got round to it. The power valves that came with it are EL34's....original spec'd with KT88's.... the previous owner (1 owner) preferred the sound of the 34's. I found from experience that not worth replacing the valves as the new owner will choose their own through personal choice.*

It's a lovely looking amp, with so much heritage, TdP first design and Partridge transformers, it's an investment.

I'm based in North London-Hornsey...weighs 90Lbs so collection is preferred.*

    I'm looking for £1450

    Spec

In addition to the blurb above, I do recommend that the TVA-1 gets a service...
