    Default Amstrad to return!

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Coming up "Page not found" for me.

I don't watch "The Apprentice", but from the bits I've seen maybe it's just a project he's given his hopefuls. They certainly will have some serious competition, from the likes of GPO, Steepletone and Crossley.

This is the kind of thing they'd be up against, the "Brooklyn" boombox from GPO. They were all over the place at yesterday's car boot, didn't ask how much, but Amazon are flogging them for about £450.

I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

Bit harsh. Just because he has a face like a car tyre with plenty of tread still on it.

I remember my sister getting an Amstrad 'stack' system back in the 80s. She thought it was the dog's danglies. "What, your stereo only plays records? Mine also copies and plays cassettes, and has a radio too" Six months later and one half of the twin tape had packed up and what was left played intermittently through one channel. Two years later it was gone and she was back to her Sega Megadrive and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Relax, they aren't bringing out any hi-fi. Going to be a digital media service - an advertising company in the old money.

Shame really I was hoping for a 21st century take on the 'Mug's Eyeful.'

That's what Sugar himself calls the TS33, in his autobiography.

He reckons - and he may be correct - that he invented the concept of the all in one music centre that looks like a stack of separate components.

    A TS33 yesterday:

Another good example is the Amstrad Studio 100.
