Thanks for the input guys. I think I'll knock the idea on the head, I just have to persuade Mrs. P of the same. Grant's suggestion of a dog is sound though, I just have to talk the cat round - easier said than done, she's a miserable little shoite.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL Storm sub

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

My thinking being that if I have cameras, and a neighbour doesn’t, my house is likely to be lower down the list.
Had a look at that Reolink Argus PT , they have a good deal on at the moment so may well get one. Thanks for the heads up Kev I was just looking for a security camera.

It is a 5MP camera, and is good enough to clearly read number plates, which is what I wanted, as if anybody comes to break into my house, they will be coming in a vehicle.

It has good "night vision" as well as built in spot lights.

I better be careful where I position it as they keep the curtains open across the road!
