thanks for the write up and clear explanation of some of the models

using the eix dac /pre now for over a year with Tannoy and its been superb. needed a firmware update recently and John Stronzer [ owner and founder ] was very supportive as was the BC dealer . They are fairly light to carry so no hulking great things to carry . beautifully built . at some point will try the black range . Really good to have a good upgrade path from the e-one series
