    lol.. basically means rock from the same place, knockin' the same stuff out like peas. I've got a feeling it's going to be just the same stuff/style as 'A bigger Bang'. Might be wrong though. Not heard it yet.

    Thanks - it's a term I've not heard before.

    Think it can be applied to many groups: Pink Floyd, post Waters; virtually all of Yes, etc. etc..

    Whether it applies to 'Hackney Diamonds', we will have to see, but if it intended to be their final album, I hope it "goes out with a bang".

    Heard the single "Angry" taken from the album and found it to be predictably 'meh'. Maybe it'll grow on me, the next few days will tell. I expect Radio 2 will play it to death.

    Yup... just as I thought. It's mediocre, it's the stones, it has that stones sound. It's aimed at the current USA fan base who will just buy it regardless. They don't seem to care about a british sound anymore, haven't done since the late 60, early 70s.
