    I could potentially sell my SD Acoustics SD1 3 way speakers. They are the original massive standmount version rather than the later floorstanders. 40x40 base narrowing to 40x30 top as they have a sloping baffle, 70cm tall. They could be collected from near Durham. I love them but they dominate my small listening room.

    Heard a pair of these guy in Washington had them sounded bit to smooth for my taste detail was there tho

    Forgot to tell you the room my set up would be going in May be a big open space but the kitchen would be to one side with a dining table so worried about room reflections guys

    does it have to be stand mounts? It really limits the options.

    I wouldn't worry too much about reflections - in a large room you will get fewer early reflections and they are the ones that are the problem

    Mission LX6-ii get great reviews and come in around £500.
