Default Rega Planar 6 Ania thoughts

After many years of upgrading Technics SL1210's I have an itch to own a "bog standard" different new deck. I'm thinking of one of the new Rega Planar 6's likely with a factory fitted Ania cartridge.

I'm currently running a fully modded 1210 with a Mission 774 arm and Grado Reference Master cartridge which is very nice with Blues/Jazz/ vocals which tends to be what I listen to mostly.
    I also have a fully refurbished "stock" 1210 and a TD150

I'd be interested to hear from forum members who have first hand experience of the Rega combo

Having bought, and listened to Regas owned by others, over a few decades, from basic to much more expensive and fettled...
Very well behaved, polite and thoroughly good companions.
I wouldn't be able to resist the temptation to have a fiddle with something more difficult to live with, but much more exciting...

I don't know the tt/cartridge combo myself but noticed Radlett have 1 in their "Bargain Basement" at a small saving http://www.radlettaudio.co.uk/bargain.html

    Thanks for that Pete.

It can be a larger saving for an AOS member.
