Default External PSU for the SL1200G

    Hello

I have a Paul Hynes SR 7 12v power supply I would like to use with my 1200G. Looking for info as to how I might go about such a modification.

It looks far more complicated than the older generations. This is for the Precision Sound Labs version. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/01...presse.pdf?122

thanks for that. I had seen a video they do for the install of their PSU. Their one is an internal unit which replaces the technics board. The PSU I have is all external - looking for a method to connect12v to the Technics board in a similar fashion (i think) to the obsolete Time step PSU.

not sure - this is what I need to find out. Most TT run on 12v. The funk firm PSU is 12v.

Smoothie is also available in 24V for Technics decks, thus removing the on-board transformers and associated field.
    Are you sure?

I thought it was 21v when I did my 1210 years ago

Edit: just checked a photo of my Paul Hynes psu for the 1210 and it was definitely 21v as written on the label.

Thank you Mikeyb, do you think the newer 1200G is the same voltage?

I know the old PSU is 21V, but I could not tell you what the G needs.
