Never been to Torquay. Looks ok, but I'm a bit disappointed with the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Just looks like a fountain to me. And where's the herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

Why do you think that is a stupid comment?

Very much a case of faded glory. Lots of Victorian delights and a few very posh bits but also interspersed with some of the most deprived areas of the country. Well worth a visit, and of course it’s Devon, so it’s wonderful.

If you’re in the area pay a visit to Coleton Fishacre, a few miles outside. One of my favourite places anywhere.
