Default WTD : Chario Academy or Ruark Equinox

I am wanting to try out a quality 2 way stand mount as I fancy trying a simpler but quality smaller speaker.
I heard Chario Academy speakers at a bake-off and was really impressed (were Mk1 version), but have always fancued a oair of Ruark Equinkx although never managed to be in the right olace at the right time.
Does anyone have anything or other possible speakers of a similar quality?
I am located in Weat Yorkshire but willing to travel a bit if postage isn't possible.

    Musical Fidelity KW550
    Eversolo DMP-A6

Hi Graham, I'm the bloke you gave those tweeterless Celestion 5s to a few years ago... got some mint tweeters for them quite quickly, and the speakers are still making good sounds in my 2nd system. So thanks for that, and good luck with your search

I think Mikeandvan of this parish was selling some Chario speakers a while back, but they were compact floorstanders, not standmounts.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL Storm sub

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

I had the Ruark Equinox and they were sublime. A fantastic speaker in every regard. I sold them to a friend and every time I see/hear them I have a pang of regret.
Usher also make a fabulous standmount.

Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
