Default Nakamichi 582 in time warp condition...as new

Help needed please, Nakamichi 852, 3 head cassette player in as new condition. I got this off an old friend intending to use it... but I've no room on the rack or indeed have any tapes now and I quickly realised I had no room for them any how,
M friend bought it 40 or so years ago, tried it out and then boxed it up and moved house. It has been in an indoor cupboard and I have probably put a couple of hours use on with some borrowed tapes. It sounds wonderful and is 100% in working order, you cannot hear it turning the tape.
It is 100% unmarked in stunning condition complete with original double box and instruction manual. I also has the original, unused cleaning kit, cloth and the screwdriver for adjustment.
I have no idea what to ask for this as there is probably not another on the planet in this time warp condition, so is unique really.
I would like any advice on what you think is a fair price.
    Thanks.

Ok, say £1200...or try a near offer..

Checking out sale prices on HiFiShark, a used Nakamichi 582 can go for anything between £500 to £1,500.

would agree... higher prices seem to go to recapped serviced ones but a minty case will add value. in end it'll be what someone pays on the day tho.

ps if you want ad to stay in pe, it needs a price

If you want to post it for sale here Vince, you will need to supply some additional photos showing the rear of the unit with all the connections.

    Thanks

Quality kit. Used one back in the day and was always pleased with it. Sold mine around 25 years ago but wish now I'd kept it.
