Really nice sounding little speakers, very musical. I've had a couple of pairs.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

They are a bit too vintage for me. Classics, though.
Current Lash Up:
TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.
If I recall, all the AR range at the time had a 100 watt rating (presumably on music signals?). They have rot-proof doped fabric cone surrounds and no ferrofluid to gum up the tweeter coils. The original 'everlasting' speaker!
I think there's only one capacitor in the filter and that may be well past its best if original, so a new one will probably be beneficial.
