Out of interest Jimbo, what feet do you use on your current speakers?
I ask as I went from the rubber spikes supplied with my Antal EZ, to IsoPucks (which the speakers just sit on) and they really opened up the sound, without the HiFi price tag of the Gaia feet, and it looks like your house is likely to have a suspended wooden floor.

I use the rubber feet that came with the speakers which are very small but I sit them on two pieces of very heavy compact laminate which is a bit like slate. The spikes were terrible especially as you have guessed correctly I have a suspended wooden floor. The combination I have works very well but I must admit I would like to try something like the Gaia feet so may look at those Isopucks. Thanks for the recommendation.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

How many Isopucks are you using under each speaker Kev?

4, based on the weight of the speakers.

My speakers are just over 27Kg each, so I needed to use 4 as they take about 9Kg each, and it is best not to use them at maximum rating.
