    I'm Ken.

Default FS: Technics SL-1210 mkII (Upgraded)

For Sale is my Technics SL-1210 Mk II.

This deck is in full working order and superb cosmetic condition, it has been extensively modified by me to include:

    Real Wood Veneer top deck.
    Brand new Technics Lid/hinges.
    Upgraded external PSU.
    Upgraded on board Regulator.
Ebony Arm board by Magna Audio (Rega Fit).
Rega RB250 Arm (+ Cardas Rewire)
Michell Technoweight – the storage box and smaller weight are included.
    Michell VTA adjuster.
    Upgraded platter bearing (by me).

You can see my project build and more pictures here: https://www.jkwynn.co.uk//Tech2_HTML/Tech2_Thumbs.html

Note: the Orange Acrylic mat and Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge pictured are also included. The cartridge has a replacement stylus, with only about 60 hours use.

Used stock SL-1200/1210 Mk II go for between £500 and £800 on eBay. This unit has had that amount spent on upgrades.

Due to the delicate nature of Turntables and no original packaging....
Collection only please, from Carlisle in Cumbria and cash on collection.
I'm tired of eBay and PayPal fees.

    Price: £800

This last picture is purely to show the external PSU, which I forgot to photograph (selling rules).
This shot was taken before I added the Rega Arm. Note the Technics Arm in this picture is NOT INCLUDED in the sale.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
