Default Chevron Dac repair - any recommendation?

My chevron DAC seems to have two issues, the USB isn't functional and there is a loud back ground hiss/ rustling when using the other inputs I've not had any luck contacting Colin, is there anyone else who could take a look for me? Any help greatly appreciated.

You could try Mike Powell. MPAV at Bolton.

He's swamped just now so expect a long long wait sending it there.

Did you try Colin's home number Steve? I do hope Colin is ok. Maybe he is on vacation? Last time I was in contact with him was earlier this year.

Have you opened up the DAC? Maybe there is something obvious like a loose wire?

I've not opened it up and I did lend it to a mate,so maybe something has just worked loose in transit.

I'm so glad, relieved actually, to hear that Colin is fine and still up to fixing his (quite wonderful) DACs.
