There was a local flower seller there who must be making a fortune - £10 for three roses: one red; one white and the third blue (although the latter, if genuine, are expensive).

I'm sure His Maj is well aware of the homeless' plight, but I'm not sure what he can do about it. I wouldn't expect to see him working soup kitchens any time soon but then I won't be either.
Maybe he could help through charity work, God knows the Royals patronise a shitload of charities. But I somehow doubt his schedule will make time for that.
