A cool 8C and a gloomy, grey nothingness out there, hints of rain but no proper showers yet.

Rain all day here from spitting to monsoon levels. The flood at the end of the street is back and enormous. Been cold too, 8C max.

Skies seem clear now and tomorrow supposed to be dry and quite mild.

A cool 5C outside, doesn't feel colder than yesterday even though it is. 16C indoors, I've said the heating won't be used until 1st Oct and then only for half an hour in the morning and again late afternoon. We'll see how it goes.

Reminds me of the days before central heating, folks were used to it!

we had fog this morning, visibility 100 yards at best. Once that cleared it's not been too bad. No rain and some sunny spells.
