Got my double size one over me now using it as a thick blanket. Does the job, the house is cold but I'm not.

I'll warm up once I've walked the dog, doing something active outside for a while makes me feel the cold less once I get back indoors.

The cold never used to bother me, but the meds I'm on make me feel the chill unless I'm busy.

About 19C indoors now, I don't need it warmer. Sooner that than the crazy summer heat!

I'm in the wrong country I think. The Azores seems suited to me, cheap residential costs and lowish cost of living, decent health care, temperature between 20C and 30C generally. English is a spoken language there and there's a good ex-pat community. Rains a fair bit, but that wouldn't bother me.

Fortunately we don't get three dog nights in this country, fuel savings would just be made up for in increased dog food costs.

Dull here but same as you, noticeably warmer than yesterday morning. Very quiet too, been up since 0715 and I don't think any cars have gone past yet.

Raining right now, and has been off and on for a few hours. I'm not bothered - I decided last night I couldn't be arsed with car boot sale.
