I find forgetting to turn the shower off helps with that.

It's 26.5C indoors - goodness knows what it is outdoors.

Forecast to reach a maximum of 31C at 3pm this afternoon.

Only a mild 23.4C in the central hallway, and 25C in the lounge with, all blinds closed all doors/windows open and the adjacent kitchen/diner bi-folds open(I have tired closed and it gets hotter).

I think the Krell is doing a good job of raising the temperature i bit.

30C and toasty down on the south coast - absolutely lovely.

As an aside, it seesm odd not to have Marco moaning about how it's far too hot and he can't sleep! Maybe he melted away in the heatwave last month....

And I'll help you out with the 'by proxy' moaning!

If I had my way, I would have all the doors and windows open - but my partner suffers badly from hay fever: streaming bloodshot eyes and a head that feels as though it is stuffed with cotton wool. Optrex eye-drops help when indoors, but are pretty ineffectual outdoors. 'Piriton' and other hay fever tablets just make her drowsy.
