    Default Noise through subwoofer

Using a BK subwoofer. Recently getting noise through speakers. Not typical mains buzz, more like random fizzing. Any ideas and possible solutions?

BTW all devices plugged into same mains block.

RF pickup? Have you changed any cables recently or moved something that emits RF near to the system?

Neighbour just bought a ham radio?

Failing that could be a dodgy capacitor somewhere. That would be a pain.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Best guess is a cap or resistor is failing, common on older rel and they come from the same place. Will the amp unbolt from the sub, might just be 4 screws and some push on connectors, if so local hifi repair agent, probably cheap fix
