    But ideally paired with sensitive speakers if you want ear-bleeding volumes.

    That’s not really possible to answer as I now have different speakers, preamp etc . You and have similar tastes in Hifi though Phil so I reckon you’d like it.
    It is a work of art too and huge , pictures don’t do it justice.
