    Chocolate brown Mini Rolls

A true classic right there, and a thing of beauty. Six cylinders, DOHC 24 valves, engine is 24" wide! I'd have one of those in a heartbeat. Shame it's hiding behind that ugly pig of a car...

you only got the Rolls Royce grill on the Allegro if you forked out for the Vanden Plas model.

The talking car was the Austin Maestro but IIRC they scrapped the feature pretty early on due to poor customer feedback. It got on people's nerves, basically.

The sat nav voice in our Volvo gets right on my wick - she's very polite, says please a lot, but talks way too much and turns down my CD when doing it. A lot like Mrs. P, but without the politeness and saying please bits. And it's only my CDs that get turned down

The voice of my Garmin is the same female voice that was used on my old Tom Tom. I don't think it is the same voice as used on my Audi in-car sat nav, but I don't use that - much preferring the Garmin.

Whoever the voice is - I call her "Mavis".

You should hear what Mavis calls you Her and Doris (the Google Maps lady) compare clients, (and the odd places they're asked to go to) and when they get together they're like two fish wives. I have that on good authority from Derek the iPhone sat nav man.

It's all fine until that bloke from 'This vehicle is reversing' shows up. He just says the same thing over and over again, drives them mad.
