After a bit of discussion, the E bay seller has substituted a new 2m pair of terminated Chord Epic X cables for the same money so I'm pleased with that. Reviews suggest my original requirements should be met.

I ditched my Chord Reference speaker cables for QED Genesis Spirals last year, they have been around a while and not that expensive, got better bass control, a more open sound, resulting in improved soundstage and clearer detail.Originally Posted by bumpy
