It has a preamp and ADC, and the whole thing is powered from a USB plug, so I doubt if the motor’s up to much.

Seriously, I'm surprised it can turn even the lightest platter at the desired speed I can confidently say any TT run off USB power must be sh1t.

Have to wait and see. Maybe not so bad if usb-c with a decent power brick behind like the MacBook Pro’s. Coupled with an efficient internals. Doubt it but could be pleasantly surprised.

Ah fair point I was thinking power like a DAC from a USB B port.
