We've still got 4 months before perpetual darkness returns. Make the most of it.

I don't know how I forgot to tell you this, but that style of hat, ie the ones in your link, and also the one you kindly offered to me, well when we were in Looe Cornwall last week I came across some in a shop. I tried one on, and asked for Mrs. P's opinion. Her reply was "Get that off NOW" and tried to steer me towards baseball caps. Which would be ok if they didn't make me look like a bell end.

So the search continues, and hopefully I don't get scalp cancer in the meantime.

17C and overcast. According to Accuweather it's supposed to be raining, but it's not! May wash the car later.

already sunny and warm here. The wood pigeons are really going for it too, competing with the cries of the tat man.

Due to cloud over though and rain by teatime. Got a thunderstorm warning too but I'll lay odds that doesn't happen. Still, we can hope. High of 25C. Weekend and next week looking a bit lacklustre though.

Just been down the shop and it does look like some dark clouds are gathering to the south so maybe we will get a bit of a storm.

Really is baking hot out and the air is hardly stirring.

Almost 23C in my living room, warmest so far this year. Mind it was already 21C in here when I got up at 0700.
