    Raining here again. Set to carry on until 1600. 11C.

    Looks like the weather picks up on Sunday, forecast is sunny with 18C.

    May in Scotland though. Said before I was there end of June and I was wearing every stitch of clothing I'd brought with me. It pissed down pretty much constantly too.

    Mind you it's not that much warmer here and there's no shortage of rain either.

    And as soon as it warms up the midges get you. Mind you, you can get that down here too.

    Actually the midges were not that much of a problem. Possibly due to the foul weather but there was one decent sunny day where I visited Castle Urquhart but still no midges.
    The only time I got properly attacked was at the bottom of a very deep lock where the air was thick with them. That was probably the day of the worst weather too.
