I wonder if hifi dave and me are in a minority - my daughter sent me this during the first lockdown. She doesn't even want to be in the same room as a Bounty...

Keep an eye out in Tesco if you like bounty eggs they might have to drop the price to get rid of the excess stock

Nine quid, that really is taking the piss. I don't know how much mine cost, Mrs. P bought it for me, but I don't think it was this one. Egg certainly didn't have coconut in it, just chocolate.

i like bounty bars on occasion(a bit too sweet to eat regular, as are cream eggs). not sure if the egg will just be choc or if it has a coconut taste(doubtful) but maybe what folk worry about.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

If you don't like coconut, then you won't like Bounty bars. I do, but only if they are the plain chocolate version (in the red wrapper).

why do people like Crunchie bars? (or as far as I'm concerned: 'chocolate covered tooth decay' ).

I'd agree with that. I like blue Bounty bars, but prefer the red ones. Agree about the Crunchie bars too, they're just wrong.
I think my favourite thing though is the Cadbury's Dairy Milk with rum 'n' raisin. They used to be called "Old Jamaica", but maybe that name is no longer pc for some reason known only to those who like to be outraged by things.
