Default Any Philips S9000 prestige users here?

I am looking at getting myself a new shaver, as I am not that impressed with my Braun Series 9.
Are there any users of the S9000 Prestige here? If so, would you recommend it?

I avoid wet shaving, as I have a mole on my chin, which used to get cut on a regular basis whilst wet shaving.
I was advised by a doctor to switch to electric.

I have a series 7 as well, which actually seems better than the Series 9 as far as the shave goes, but that is not in Toulouse.

My first shaver was a Philips 3-head jobbie, but eventually the foils wore through, so I changed to Braun. I have had five Braun shavers over the years (still have four of them; both battery and mains powered), but overall I feel that the designs are not as good as they once were (in various different aspects), and they are now very expensive. Replacement foils are now difficult to obtain, and for the latest models, unobtainable - you have to replace the entire head!

I ought to replace my shaver, but would be at loss to choose a new model. But whatever it is, it won't cost over £200!

After a bit more research, I have found rhat Braun have released a new design of cutter/foil assembly, so I am going to try one of those.

I have also started wet shaving with my series 9, which has helped as well.
