Bristol analogue - Hello

Hello from Bristol UK.

I'm listening to a Linn / EAR Valve / Impulse H2 combination that I'm very happy with. There's a Naim ND5XS2 snuck in there for streaming.

Currently, I am restoring the Impulse H2s - hoping to share information with people on the forums here.

Hi Tom/Rob....which one is it? I'm Rob although called many other colourful names at times

I have never heard a pair of H2's but would like to as I remember the quirky Jimmy Hughes article in HiFi Choice back in the 80s. He used them back to front so that the sound bounced off the walls

Welcome to AoS Tom/Rob (?), from a fellow Bristolian.

I was born and raised in Bristol (Clifton), but after secondary education I left and moved around a bit. I bought my first audio gear from Audio Bristol (are they still there?) and from Radford HiFi.

Nice system you have there. A friend of mine used Impulse H2s with a valve amplifier (Audio Innovations 500).

What are your tastes in music?
