Default Help Needed Headshell Socket Screws

Have a Technics 20220310_101126_resized.jpgSL-1400 MKII and need screws that mount head shell socket to the end of the tonearm.

Need source to obtain screws and the specs on screw type/size for future reference. Checked multiple forums and no luck.

Have approached a few sellers of the complete socket kit but no responses as yet.

    Thanks !!

May or may not be any use but if I need small screws I usually head for the box of dead computer bits, might be worth talking to the local repairers?

    Thanks,

Turns out I scavenged the small screws from a lap top and none were quite small enough.
Tried some eyeglass repair screws they didn't fit either....

Looks like they may be M1.5 or something like.
i have a tub with many tiny screws in, measure the diameter of the thread and I'll see what I've got.
I love Hendrix for so many reasons. He was so much more than just a blues guitarist - he played damn well any kind of guitar he wanted. In fact I'm not sure if he even played the guitar - he played music. - Stevie Ray Vaughan

If you have a clock or camera repairer near you, give them a try.

    Alan,

    Right you are !!
Using manual micrometer it looks to be 1.5mm diameter & 2mm long (tip to bottom of head). Bottom edge of head is flat (not tapered). Phillips head/fine thread.
With all the Technics TT's out there it is surprising difficulty finding these/getting actual size specs.
