    Hi All

    A cheap pair of 33's has come up local but one of the bass units has a crack / split in the cone worth buying and glue them or pass thoughts what would be the best glue to use if i should buy

    Up to you of course, but personally I'd pass. Drive units are in short supply, especially the tweeters
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    If you can get them for £20-30 then as they're paper cones you can have a go with slightly watered down PVA glue and some stiffer tissue or something there's info online. If it doesn't work you'll get your money back as breaking then up for spares (hate to do it but if there's no drivers going at least you'll help save another pair).

    Not sure if they are the same as Ditton 44s (Base driver), but if so, I might well be able to help you out.

    33 uses a ten inch driver and 44 is a twelve so not the same.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

    Passed on these - The Mid ranges were damaged too not worth the time and effort great shame

    Nah when you see a mint pair with broken tweeters in 6 months you'll wish you bought these.
