ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven
Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

A sad day. A great bloke and a great designer.
A happy memory-
“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

REcall visiting him in Malta.
He sat us down and played the same LP as 'speaker tester' that I'd always used!
(Andreas Vollenweider 'Beyond the wall.....')
Wish I'd kept the Glastonburys.
He liked my Rock!
Chris.

It was Nick Gorham who'd bought the shots. :-)

I'm Lawrence.
Such sad news I had a couple of beers with him and Toni after the last Hammersmith show.
I also remember seeing Ken Ishiwata and wondering if I should say hello and thanks, wish I had now as I'll not get another chance
thanks ali

I'm charles.
Oh man, sad news indeed. I met him briefly at the XFI Premium Show in Veldhoven, Holland in October 2019. We chatted for some time about his supertweeters where he, with a wry smile, confessed he did not know a word of Dutch. A gentleman.
That's sad news. I've only recently been in touch with Townshend Audio, getting my Allegri serviced.
