Loads of videos on YouTube showing surround replacement.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

My friend has spoken to Paul at RFC. Paul has been out of action (presumably due to a move of premises) and is only now getting back to work.

Whether my friend sends only the drive units back, or the entire speakers (including the cabinets) has yet to be decided.

Anyway thanks for all your comments and advice.

ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down
