In the first photo that Honda VF is a very rare bike. I think it's the 1000cc version, I had the 750 and although it was great to ride it spent most of my ownership being repaired, failed cam chain tensioners and blown head gaskets. I replaced it with the first generation VFR, infinitely better.
Weren't the cam chains described as being made of chocolate?
You've got to hand it to Honda though, they've never been afraid to try radical things, with varying degrees of success (six cylinder CBX1000, V4, VFR V-tec, FireBlade, oval pistons, Goldwing, Rune).
